Women in Business Committee

The Women in Business (WIB) Committee is one of the 13 Committees currently present within  the Hills & Districts Chamber of Commerce. 

According to our 2020/2022 Strategic Business Plan, the purpose for the WIB committee is to  provide a framework and structure for businesswomen to connect in a supportive environment,  fostering opportunities for friendship, mentoring, education and business. 

What We Do: 

1. Facilitate events including: 

• Bi-monthly network meetings (1st Friday of every second month, 12pm – check our  events sections on the website and/or Facebook page to book!) 
• Business focussed and social forums 

2. Make women visible by: 

• Celebrating International Women’s Day 
• Empowerment and knowledge exchange 
• Engaging in dialogue with the wider community 

3. Provide references and business for one another and other Chamber members via: • Referrals  

• Collaboration & Co-creation 

The Women in Business committee is a dynamic, agile and supportive group striving to make a meaningful difference.
